Yadam Foundation

Evidence-Informed Advocacy

The YADAM Foundation works to eliminate malnutrition in Africa by advocating for policy changes, raising awareness, and sharing knowledge with policymakers. We collaborate with governments, donors, and the private sector to support stunting prevention and influence nutrition policies. Our focus is on political will, awareness, and resource mobilization. Our strategy combines proven practices and data for effective change. Programs like the community nutrition hub provide education, training, and support to local communities, helping them make informed nutritional choices and improve their quality of life.

Integrated Nutrition Solutions

We adopt a hybrid and adaptive approach to eliminate malnutrition, collaborating with stakeholders in health, nutrition, agriculture, WASH, food processing, social protection, and job creation. Our goal is to deliver high-performance programs within budgets and timelines. Comprehensive monitoring and evaluation systems will track progress and measure impact. The foundation will seek partnerships with government agencies, private sector entities, and international organizations to leverage resources and share expertise. Resource mobilization efforts will focus on securing funding and support through grants, donations, and contributions. These efforts aim to create sustainable nutrition interventions and improve community health and well-being.

Capacity Building & Community Empowerment

Knowledge sharing and networking will be key. We will organize workshops, conferences, and training programs to exchange best practices and innovative solutions. By fostering collaboration, we aim to enhance the impact of our initiatives and encourage sustainable change in addressing malnutrition. Investing in capacity-building for local stakeholders through targeted technical support and promoting research will ensure they have the necessary skills to address stunting effectively. YADAM aims to create a network of informed advocates to lead initiatives and support long-term nutritional improvements. We will establish robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems to track and continuously improve our programs.
