STRENGTHENING COMMITMENTS FOR ACCELERATED NUTRITION SOLUTIONS IN ETHIOPIA | PANEL 01

YADAM Foundation’s Dec 16 workshop with top government leaders and Gates Foundation partners secured game-changing commitments to end malnutrition:
✅ Mandatory Fortification: LSFF is now a legal requirement in all federal public procurement.
✅ MMS Scale-up: A costed roadmap for nationwide micronutrient supplementation is officially endorsed.
✅ Policy Priority: Nutrition is now a standalone pillar in the national 3-Year Development Plan.
✅ Bigger Budgets: Woreda nutrition funding has doubled (from 2M to 5M Birr).
✅ Fast-Tracked Council: The National Food & Nutrition Council is being accelerated.

Advocacy is turning into action. From the Ministry of Industry to the Ministry of Health, Ethiopia is united for a healthier future.
