In a strategic advocacy drive led by Founder, Board Chairman, and African Nutrition Champion H.E. Demeke Mekonnen, YADAM Foundation engaged in high level one to one dialogue sessions with key Federal and Regional institutional leaders across Ethiopia.
Participants included the Minister of Health, Minister of Education, Minister of Industry, Minister of Trade and Regional Integration, Minister of Planning and Development, Minister of Finance, and Minister of Women and Social Affairs to secure concrete, actionable commitments for maternal and child nutrition.
By bridging legislative oversight, sectoral policymaking, and regional administration, these dialogues secured tangible commitments to embed nutrition into core development planning. They also focused on scaling large scale food fortification and safeguarding the first 1,000 days of life.
