YADAM at the African Regional Dialogue on Data for Action in Food Fortification

Our Founder and Chairperson was a distinguished keynote speaker at the recent Africa Regional Dialogue on Data for Action in Food Fortification. The high-level event, hosted by the Micronutrient Forum in collaboration with Ethiopia’s Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Health, brought together key leaders to address the critical challenge of micronutrient deficiencies across the continent.
Our founder’s address emphasized the urgent need for a data-driven and collaborative approach to scale up the fortification of staple foods—a powerful and cost-effective strategy to improve public health and fuel economic growth.
The engagement was also a pivotal moment for building strategic alliances, as our founder was engaging with different high-level officials from the government and development partners. In a further step to strengthen global partnerships, a productive meeting was held with Dr. Saskia Osendarp, Executive Lead of the Micronutrient Forum. They discussed concrete areas for future synergy and collaboration, aligning YADAM’s mission with global expertise to maximize impact.
