YADAM Joins Global Consortium to Drive Actionable Research on Maternal and Child Health
October 29, 2025 – YADAM participated in the recent virtual Consortium Formation Workshop for a major multi-country research initiative focused on Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Development (MNCHD) in the critical first 1000 days of life.
This landmark workshop brought together leading experts and representatives from over 13 countries, uniting a diverse global effort to address one of the most pivotal periods in human development. The collaborative session marked a significant step forward in structuring this ambitious, actionable research program.
The primary objective of the workshop was to solidify the consortium’s framework and identify key work packages that will guide the research over the coming years. Through productive discussions, partners successfully defined core areas of focus. Aligning with international partners to determine these critical work packages ensures our research will be targeted, practical, and ultimately, have a tangible impact on the health of mothers and children worldwide. Being part of this consortium aligns perfectly with YADAM’s mission to create sustainable, evidence-based change.
This consortium represents a powerful commitment to generating evidence that can directly inform health policies and programs across multiple contexts. YADAM looks forward to continuing its close collaboration with all partner institutions as this vital research moves into its next phase.
